The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Growth Manager to work directly with our founder to accelerate our user acquisition, activation, and retention.

This role will optimise our full marketing funnel, driving measurable growth through data-driven strategies and innovative use of AI across all channels.

We think the role is super exciting for a number of reasons, including the opportunity to:

  • Pioneer AI-Driven Growth: Be at the forefront of using AI for growth hacking, actively integrating cutting-edge tools to redefine how we acquire and engage users.
  • Direct Impact & Founder Mentorship: Work daily alongside the team that founded Perkbox, gaining invaluable insights and learning the fundamental strategies and processes required to build a successful business from the ground up.
  • Join a High-Caliber Team: Collaborate with a team of highly driven and high-IQ individuals who are passionate about innovation, and contributing to a product with global reach.
  • Find Purpose-Driven Work: Be part of a mission to make learning fun and engaging for everyone, making a real difference in the EdTech space.
  • Shape Our Future: Play a significant role in shaping the growth trajectory of a rapidly expanding tech startup.

What you'll do

  • Growth Hacking: Develop and implement comprehensive growth hacking strategies, mapping and optimising marketing funnels to achieve sales targets. Collaborate cross-functionally (product, sales, content) for effective execution.
  • AI-Tools Integration: Manage our existing AI tools, automations and proactively research, test, and integrate cutting-edge AI tools across all growth activities – from content generation and ad optimisation to lead scoring, personalisation, and analytical insights.
  • Performance Marketing: Plan, execute, and optimise digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and other platforms. Manage budgets, test heavily, and drive strong ROI.
  • Lead Acquisition & CRM: Drive lead acquisition efforts, using data acquisition tools (e.g., Apollo.io, Kaspr) to identify and qualify target accounts. Manage leads and workflows effectively within our CRM (ideally HubSpot), ensuring smooth handoffs to sales.
  • Email Marketing: Develop, execute, and optimise email marketing campaigns (nurture sequences, newsletters, promotions) to engage prospects and customers, drive conversions, and support retention efforts.
  • Events Management: Manage end-to-end event participation (conferences, expos, webinars), including bookings, stand setup, and on-site engagement. Maximise lead capture and brand visibility at events.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Establish KPIs, build dashboards, and conduct in-depth analysis of marketing performance. Generate actionable reports and leverage data (including AI-driven insights) to continuously optimize strategies and predict outcomes.

Who you are

  • 3-5 years experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or HR Tech environment.
  • Proven expertise in marketing operations, funnel optimisation, and paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Hands-on experience with lead acquisition tools (e.g. Apollo.io, Kaspr) and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). Experience with AI tools and agents a bonus.
  • Strong background in developing and optimising email marketing campaigns.
  • Highly analytical, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Proactive, experimental mindset with a keen interest in leveraging AI for growth and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a collaborative spirit.
  • A passion for technology, learning, and making a measurable business impact.
  • Nice to have: Experience with SEO and content creation

We think the role would suit individuals who:

  • Are a team player: You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate your ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Love getting their hands dirty!: You love getting involved in projects and really taking ownership of your work, and role in the organisation.
  • Are adaptable: You're comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Are curious: You are always on the lookout for the new trend, tool or topic we can jump on and test out.
  • Have a test, learn and iterate mindset: Enjoy experimenting, making rapid decisions and learning from failures

What we offer

  • Competitive Salary
  • Employee share options
  • 25 days holiday
  • £300 learning budget
  • A purpose-driven work environment: we're passionate about our mission to make learning fun and engaging for all
