Production Operatives (x7) – Based Peterborough
Monday to Friday Days Role – Rotating Early’s Afternoons – 13 Week Temp-to-Perm £13.54p/h + 31 Days Holiday + Overtime Paid at Time-and-a-half Double Time.
5D are working with a growing company who have developed a method of recycling ash from power stations, ensuring that household waste doesn’t go to landfill and the process is carbon negative. They have recently signed an agreement with one of the UK’s largest waste to energy plants, which is significantly increasing throughput and requires an additional shift.
What the Role will Involve:
- Working on a production line sorting metals that drop through the sortation equipment.
- Cleaning down areas as part of a team to remove excess dust and ensure the machinery can work effectively and efficiently.
- Working in a dusty environment, which requires using masks and ventilation equipment.
- Working on a rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern: Mornings: 05:45-14:15 Afternoons: 14:00-22:00.
- Working safely in an environment with heavy plant operating, which includes regular drugs and alcohol testing.
Requirements:
- We can offer permanent roles with stability for the right candidates.
- Reliability.
- Willingness to work in the environment.
- UK Driving licence car/transport due to location.
Benefits:
- Some training and development, this could be FLT training, confined space, or other vocational training.
- Monday-to-Friday rotating days shifts – this won’t change.
- Pay rises, based on training and development.
- Weekly pay for the first three months.
