We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join a leading construction materials business based near Loughborough, Leicestershire. As an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role within an ambitious and hardworking team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in machinery and equipment.
- Installing new machinery and equipment.
- Conducting tests on machinery and electrical equipment to identify potential issues.
- Complete PPMs and Reactive Maintenance when required.
- Maintain full electrical functionality on motors, inverters, safety circuits and perform fault finding on PLCs and adjust programme where necessary.
- Always considering safe working as a priority.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be time served or hold a City and Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 or higher (NVQ) OR be Apprentice trained.
- Strong electrical understanding of machinery and associated elements.
- Experience of working in a heavy industry environment.
- Health and safety conscious.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- PLC fault finding and ideally programming experience.
On offer for the successful Maintenance Engineer:
- 3 shifts rotating earlies, afters, nights.
