We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to join a leading construction materials business based near Loughborough, Leicestershire. As an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role within an ambitious and hardworking team.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in machinery and equipment.
  • Installing new machinery and equipment.
  • Conducting tests on machinery and electrical equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Complete PPMs and Reactive Maintenance when required.
  • Maintain full electrical functionality on motors, inverters, safety circuits and perform fault finding on PLCs and adjust programme where necessary.
  • Always considering safe working as a priority.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Must be time served or hold a City and Guilds Level 3 / BTEC Level 3 or higher (NVQ) OR be Apprentice trained.
  • Strong electrical understanding of machinery and associated elements.
  • Experience of working in a heavy industry environment.
  • Health and safety conscious.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • PLC fault finding and ideally programming experience.

On offer for the successful Maintenance Engineer:

  • 3 shifts rotating earlies, afters, nights.
