5D are working with a local, well‑established property developer. They specialise in designing and building luxury, bespoke homes. Homes are either bespoke to a client, or small luxury developments that are built and sold on the open market.
We are looking for reliable, experienced First and Second Fix Joiners for ongoing work in Oakham, Rutland and surrounding areas. There are currently three sites in Oakham, one in North Northamptonshire, and one near Newark. With further sites in the pipeline, there is the chance of contract extensions.
Job Details
- Role: First & Second Fix Joiner
- Location: Oakham, Rutland & surrounding areas
- Pay: Up to £300 per day (depending on experience and standard of work)
- Start: Immediate
- Payment: CIS / Self‑employed
The Role
- First fix carpentry including stud walls, joists, flooring
- Second fix work such as doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens
- Working on residential and small commercial projects
- High standards expected on well‑run local sites
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in first and/or second fix joinery
- Own tools and reliable transport
- CSCS card preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Professional, tidy, and reliable approach
