5D are delighted to be working in collaboration with a growing local IT business established in 2007, providing process automation, MSP, and IT support solutions for a broad spectrum of businesses, from finance and professional services to manufacturing and engineering.
The role will involve:
- This is predominantly a new business role, accounting for around 65% of the position, which includes:
- Identifying potential clients and key points of contact within the business.
- Making initial introductions and understanding if there is an appetite to buy.
- Creating and managing a call back system of potential clients and keeping in touch with them periodically.
- Upselling and cross-selling different solutions into existing clients.
- Making regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction with the service and products.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A sales background with a strong interest in IT and software solutions, or
- A strong technical IT skillset looking for a technical sales role.
- A full UK driving license, as visiting prospective, new, and existing clients is expected.
