Salary: Up to 28,000 per annum

Contract: Fixed term 1 year - starting July 2026

Location: Letchworth Head Office, moving to Hitchin in Summer 2026

We are seeking a People Administrator to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the People function across the organization. You will be the first point of contact for people-related queries and will play a key role in ensuring our people processes run smoothly. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, working with people and contributing to a positive workplace and wishes to learn and develop in their HR career.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes and offboarding
  • Maintain and update the HR information system (HRIS), ensuring employee records are accurate and up to date
  • Prepare and issue employment documentation including offer letters, contracts and variation letters
  • Assist with payroll preparation by collating absence data, starters, leavers, and contractual changes
  • Respond to general people queries from managers and team members in a timely and professional manner
  • Support employee relations casework with accurate note-taking and administrative follow-up including letters
  • Support annual people function projects
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc people reports and data as required
