What will you be doing?
- Support MSIM in the acquisition of Distributors, focusing on Private Markets solutions for Wealth Management
- Support the relationship management for the existing Distributors
- Preparing and attending client meetings/calls/events including follow-up
- Providing strategy-focused information to internal and external stakeholders, explaining the investment philosophy and process
- Working closely with the Global Wealth sales team and the Investment Teams to help prepare business plans, sales channel reporting or other internal management requests for the business
- Gathering market intelligence and competitor information
- Developing a deep understanding of MSIM’s suite of funds and investment strategies as well as the capabilities and offering of the broader Firm
- Coordinating and supporting sales/product/marketing demand of distribution partners
- Maintaining, creating, updating and reporting sales opportunities/pipelines/meeting notes in Salesforce
- Support planning and realisation of distribution partner trainings (incl. preparation and wrap-up) in alignment with the responsible sales colleagues
- Working with the Marketing Team and the Investment Teams on the creation of publications and strategy-focused collateral that resonate with clients
- Alignment and proactive collaboration with internal departments (Product Management, Investment Teams, Marketing, Controlling, Operations, L&C etc.)
What we’re looking for:
- University Degree in capital markets, finance, business or economics
- Good knowledge of the Asset Management industry and the various forms of the main investment products, with a focus on Private Markets
- Strong team spirit, interpersonal and communication skills as well as pronounced focus on client needs
- Excellent English. Fluency in other European languages is a plus (German, French, Italian and Spanish being the most relevant)
- Strong technical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills and a great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure
