To represent our lender clients in the sale of properties which they have acquired following repossession proceedings, ensuring that excellent, communicative service is delivered to our lender clients and their Asset Managers and that completion of the cases takes place as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Actively manages a caseload of repossession sales cases, from instruction to completion.
- Title checks the cases on instruction and produces a title report for the Asset Managers and the lender client.
- Ensures all title issues are identified and actions put in place to resolve them, taking advice from senior colleagues where appropriate.
- Drafting legal documentation and ensuring any amendments to standard documents are approved by our client.
- Pro-actively prioritises and chases cases to ensure that exchange deadlines are achieved.
- Ensures all correspondence is dealt with swiftly and within our service level agreements.
- Liaising with buyers’ solicitors to resolve any enquiries and bring the transaction to the swiftest possible conclusion.
- Providing accurate updates to our client lender, and their Asset Managers, and being responsive to their requests and queries.
- Accurately produces completion statements ensuring that nil balances are achieved on every completion.
- Handling completion ensuring all formalities are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Previous Residential Conveyancing experience essential (minimum of 2 years running a sale and purchase caseload).
- Experience of dealing with leasehold desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player who demonstrates flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Able to work under own initiative.
- Experience of working in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good grasp of working within a regulatory environment.
