We're hiring for a Project Manager to join our UK&I PMO Team in London on a 6 month fixed term basis.

Purpose of the Role

Dentsu UK&I is embarking on multiple transformative programmes, managed by the UK&I PMO and overseen by the UK&I Steering committee. The committee prioritises, reviews, and approves significant projects, acting as the central forum for escalation and issue resolution. As Project Manager, you'll collaborate with the Project Business Lead to develop, gain approval for, and manage project business cases, benefits plans, and budgets. You'll ensure the realisation of benefits through meticulous planning and design, working closely with change managers and business benefit owners. You'll define the project, translating it into actionable delivery objectives, leading the project to achieve business case benefits, desired capabilities, and outcomes whilst upholding ethical standards in all interactions with stakeholders, team members, and the broader organisation. You'll also design, develop, and manage the project team, including the appointment of project managers and key resources. Resolving conflicts, clearly defining roles and responsibilities, fostering innovation, and inspiring the team to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and agree on project budgets, meticulously tracking forecast and actual costs to ensure financial control.
  • Implement robust project governance, monitor progress, maintain project integrity, and engage in assurance activities to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Document all fundamental project components, establish protocols for scope changes, set performance controls, and monitor progress.
  • Engage fully with requisite assurance processes and respond to recommendations.
  • Map project dependencies, identify owners, and integrate dependency management into the project governance cycle.
  • Act as an arbiter to resolve issues between various project elements.
  • Identify and secure necessary resources, manage contracts, and update resource allocation plans to ensure project needs are met.
  • Identify and manage stakeholder interests, ensure effective communication, and secure senior-level support to maintain alignment with project goals.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Project management experience with PMI, APM, or Prince methodologies.
  • Experience across a variety of projects i.e. org structure change, tech, data, process change, line management, software migration projects.
  • Experience with cost and resource management.
  • Ability to work effectively with heads of and Practice Area COOs.
  • Able to demonstrate strong presence and communication skills.
  • Passionate about driving change and delivering exceptional project outcomes.
