About the job you\’re considering
Location: Warton, UK (On-site, 5 days per week)

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Avionics Systems Consultant to join our team on-site in Warton. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer with a strong background in flight avionics systems, radar technologies, and mission-critical equipment. You will play a key role in the design, development, and integration of advanced avionics systems for next-generation fighter aircraft.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)
Your Role
- Lead and support high-level concept development for flight avionics systems.
- Generate and manage formal system requirements using tools such as DOORS.
- Contribute to system and sub-system design and development across the avionics lifecycle.
- Apply knowledge of the V-Model lifecycle in the context of fighter aircraft systems.
- Support interface management using the ICT Tool (ADS internal).
- Collaborate on radar and IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) system integration.
- Provide input into mission computer equipment design and validation.
- Utilize Statemate for system modeling and simulation.
- Manage configuration using PCMS.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
