We are looking for tech passionate individuals who want to start their career as an apprentice in the IT industry. You will be joining a business area working for our largest UK public sector client working with inspiring experts from which you can learn from and enjoy the career opportunities this brings. You will be joining a community of Graduates and Apprentices across the business. On joining, you will be assigned to start in one of the following roles:
- Technical Consultant within Oracle Technologies (ERP): Candidates will have a passion for coding and/or infrastructure, enjoy problem solving and relish the opportunity to transform our client's businesses through technology.
- Functional Consultant within Oracle & Workday Technologies (ERP): Candidates will have a passion for technology and relish the opportunity to work on projects helping to guide and transform how our global clients manage and operate, streamlining processes and enhancing business operations.
- Technical Consultant within SAP: Candidates will have an interest in designing, building & testing SAP Code, SAP interfaces, migrating data to SAP data and/or SAP cloud-based technology.
- Functional Consultant within SAP: Candidates will have an interest in designing, building, testing and implementing SAP transformations for our clients and/or in learning to manage SAP Projects.
You will need to be based within a commutable distance to your chosen office where you should expect to typically be in our office 3 days a week.
Your skills and experience: To be eligible, you need:
- 7 GCSEs including Maths and English grades 4-9
- Plus, one of the following:
- 3 A*-C at A-level (NOTE: AS Levels are not included)
- Completed Advanced Apprenticeship BTEC (Pass, Pass, Distinction minimum)
Your clearance: If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).
Your security clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS): To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks. There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required. There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
Security Check (SC) Clearance: To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
