The Business Sales Analyst will align with WTW’s broader sales analytics strategy to execute requirements (for all WTW, including specific segments and businesses). This role will partner closely with the broader business, sales operations and sales analytics team members to improve the overall effectiveness of our data model and sales insights to support decision‑making and go‑to‑market strategies. This role will foster growth by improving our sales analytics to provide predictive analytics on sales trends, pipeline, and connectivity across businesses.

The Role:

  • Partner with businesses as a global analyst with Power BI, excel power query, financial acumen skills.
  • Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable sales insights.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Utilize Microsoft tools, particularly above-average expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Power query/excel.
  • Ability to identify data inaccuracies and raise issues as required.
  • Proficiency in cleansing large data sets and utilizing internal enterprise data sources for mapping requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
  • Understanding of the data model applied to business and geography.
  • Partner with technology to track sales tools and analytics data architecture requests and identified bugs.
  • Ensure quick resolution of bugs, proper investigation of root cause and ongoing monitoring of issues.
  • Manage enhancement requests roadmap of improvements, with oversight on delivery timelines and impact to reporting roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Understanding of CRM systems and data lakes.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Proactive thinking.
  • Technically savvy.
  • Ability to coordinate teams across businesses and internal stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
  • Broad understanding of WTW capabilities and expertise.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools, particularly above-average expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Purview, Power query/excel.
