Our client is a UK based cyber security consultancy with ambitious growth targets and a market-leading 24-7 MSP SOC. We're hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant to sit at the heart of that growth, technically credible, commercially sharp, and trusted by CISOs and security leaders.
The opportunity in one line: Own the SOC technical presales client conversations. Build the solution. Win the deal. Help scale a recurring-revenue proposition.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead SOC solution design: Shape MDR and managed security solutions from first call to signed contract. Act as the technical authority across SOC / MDR client opportunities.
- Front senior stakeholders: Present with authority to CISOs, heads of security and IT leadership.
- Driving quality across bids, proposals, and client engagements: Lead or contribute to RFPs and RFIs with commercial and technical rigour.
- Influence the proposition: Feed market insight back into how our client develops and positions the SOC offering.
What we're looking for:
- A strong SOC or MDR Presales / Solutions background, whether from the operations side or from selling complex managed security contracts.
- Proven pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience, comfortable owning full sales cycles.
- The ability to bridge sales, technology, and delivery, credible with both technical teams and the boardroom.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to bridge sales, tech, and delivery.
- Bonus: experience in regulated sectors (financial services, critical infrastructure, aviation) or familiarity with SIEM, MDR, and cloud-native SOC platforms.
Why Apply?:
- Visible impact: Direct line to new logo wins and deal size, not a support function.
- Recurring revenue: Central to scaling a managed security proposition with long-term ARR.
- Strategic platform: Backed by financial strength and serious growth ambitions.
If you’re someone who thrives in client-facing, solution-led environments and wants to shape the future of SOC offerings in a growing cyber consultancy, this is worth a conversation.
