The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job Title: Utility operator
Location: Cupar, Fife, Scotland
Contract type and shift: Permanent, two weekly rotation Monday to Friday & Tuesday to Saturday
Package includes: Salary £31,738.45 a year, plus pension contributions matched up to 10%, discretionary performance related bonus and access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing and everyday life.
Key Responsibilities
- Load finished product lorries accurately, ensuring correct feed types and conducting essential quality checks.
- Manage raw material intake, including weighing vehicles, performing quality checks, and routing materials to appropriate storage.
- Prepare and supply hand-tip additions for feed blending.
- Maintain high hygiene standards across the mill, supporting and following hygiene improvement plans.
- Support the achievement of food safety and comply with UFAS standards.
- Adhere strictly to company health and safety regulations and contribute to site safety initiatives.
- Participate in regular stock check activities and assist in tracking performance measures such as KPIs and hygiene scores.

- Experience in food, agricultural, or production environments (essential)
- Confident working with automated plant machinery (essential)
- Feed mill experience (desirable)
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Highly organised with a calm, positive attitude under pressure
