If you are a Technician in Stafford, TX, Emerson has an excellent opportunity for you. This position will provide hands‑on support to set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot our monitoring systems. You'll also help the plant succeed by writing clear work instructions and training teams to ensure our digital solutions are built, tested, and supported with consistency and quality.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Help train operations and develop clear procedures to manufacture, test, and troubleshoot our digital solutions, ensuring consistent quality and execution.
- Install, set up, and calibrate monitoring devices, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Support commissioning PRV monitoring systems and verify connectivity with control systems (DCS, PLC, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair monitoring devices and field communication issues (HART, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Provide technical support to customers and sales teams during site trials, demos, and service visits.
- Prepare service reports, calibration records, and feedback to engineering.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Instrumentation, Electronics, Process Control, or Mechatronics.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in instrumentation, process control, or field service.
- Proficiency in calibrating and maintaining sensors, transmitters, and controllers (pressure, flow, level, temperature).
- Good communication and training skills, with the ability to write clear work instructions.
- Ability to travel domestically/internationally (up to 10‑15%).
