Bring your skills to the mix as a Project Manager within the Water Sector, you\’ll play a vital role in every aspect of Project and Programme Management on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of the Water sector, whilst delivering water services into multiple other sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose
- Project / programme management of delivery across UK and international project lifecycles: feasibility studies, front-end to detailed design (incl. Design and Build), and construction support.
- Supporting the project technical team in the successful delivery of the project to meet the agreed targets, e.g. programme, budget and quality.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
- Preparing all necessary project reports and plans, both internally or externally, as required.
What you can bring
- Degree qualified, member of a professional institution (MAPM, CMI etc.)
- Practical experience of project management in water/wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects.
- Experience in Project Management of design delivery, including multidisciplinary and Design and Build design.
- Experience with Scope Definition papers, Project Execution Plans, Risk Registers, Change Control Logs and Client and Stakeholder Management plans.
- Experience of Design and Build projects and bid delivery in the water and/or wastewater engineering sector. International experience is beneficial but not essential.
