Job description

We have work all over the DFW metroplex and surrounding areas year round. We are currently looking for technicians located in the northern part of the metroplex to handle our large workload as we rapidly continue to expand north! Main office is located in Midlothian, Tx and have a hub in Pilot Point, Tx Technicians take trucks home and dispatch from the house.

The HVAC Residential Service Technician will perform and apply technical skills and knowledge associated with: maintaining and servicing heating/ventilation/air conditioning, and troubleshooting HVAC systems for residential customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing on-site HVAC performance evaluations, routine repairs and calibrations.
  • Troubleshooting common problems and providing appropriate level repairs.
  • Using experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements.
  • Advising manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and identifying the necessary corrective actions to be taken.
  • Working in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Working in a safe manner, ensuring all safety measures are taken, at all times.
  • Performing other duties, as assigned.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as required.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 6 years hands-on HVAC Experience
  • EPA Certification, required
  • Valid Texas driver\’s license AND acceptable driving record
  • Ability to maneuver and climb ladders
  • Moderate lifting (up to 75 pounds)
  • Complete pre-employment drug test and background check processes
  • Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Solid electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
  • Ability to work independent and self-schedule
  • Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
  • Valid TDLR card
  • NATE certification a plus

Compensation:

  • In addition to your benefits package, compensation will be based on previous experience, and work history
