JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood require a Senior Contract Administrator to develop and implement Contract Management and Administration processes, related methodologies and best practices. This position is open to hybrid working with 3 days a week at our clients office in Northop, 2 days remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Responsibilities

  • To coordinate day to day contract administration activities, ensuring contractor compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract
  • To perform Contract analysis in order to monitor the achievement of project goals
  • To ensure that all aspects of the contract are complied with in an auditable manner and that cost, schedule and HSE risks are minimized
  • To assist Contract Holders in all matter of legality, tax, insurance, warranty, bond, liquidated damages and penalties
  • To guarantee an efficient resolution of contractual problems, with the management of claims and variations produced during the contract execution
  • To contribute to the development of Lessons Learned

Key Activities

  • Maintain Contract Holder File with special regard to transparency and traceability of all decisions made during the Contract duration.
  • Supervision of the CONTRACTORS performance during the implementation of the WORK.
  • Develop/monitor CA control tools (Registers, etc.) – Keep track of Variations, Changes to WORK and Options
  • Perform and manage a contractual claims
  • Keep track of the correspondance
  • Reporting regularly on the contract status on all contractual aspects and areas of concern.
  • Keep informed identified stakeholders on contract performance
  • Prepare Contract Close-out Contractor Feedback report and Lesson Learned to improve procurement process

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Economics, Law, Engineering Discipline or other relevant degree
  • Oil & Gas Industry experience
  • Wide experience in comparable projects is appreciated, especially if involved in company offshore & deepwater projects
  • Supplier Products and Market: Knowledge of suppliers production processes, Suppliers quality management processes
  • Organizational Processes: Company Organization, construction project organization, Internal Procedures, Procurement Process, Project Management Process
  • Supports and technologies: Network information search and management, Integrated information systems and process information supports
  • Economics: Cost estimating, Cost analysis and control
  • Basic Legal concepts comprehension; basic knowledge of legal aspects (civil law, common law and contractual requirements)
  • Technical specifications and standards, Environment Health safety, Agreement
  • Specific contracts aspects: knowledge of offshore contracts and operations ( if working for an offshore company projects) – Comparative economic evaluations
