54 is a sports and entertainment agency operating across five regions and nine offices: United Kingdom (London), Europe (Sotogrande, Spain), MENA (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia & Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), APAC (Singapore, Vietnam & Adelaide, Australia) and USA (West Palm Beach, Florida). It works with rights holders, governing bodies, developers, household brands and major investors who share its belief in the power of sport. 54 comprises three service areas each consisting of two divisions: Strategic Advisory (Consultancy and Data & Insights), Asset Optimisation (Operations and Commercial) and Activation & Engagement (Events and Marketing).

Role Overview

This opportunity exists for an organised and driven Senior Advertising Executive to join the 54 media team in its delivery of all paid for advertising of a tier 1 client for the agency, as well as providing support on other clients across the business. A keen interest in the game of golf and good experience in advertising planning and buying role within the sports industry or at a leading media agency is required. The candidate must be comfortable working on a variety of projects across multiple markets concurrently and working to tight deadlines.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Support with media planning and buying across multi platforms with a focus on digital
  • Working with senior members of the team to activate advertising campaigns for key clients
  • Negotiate paid for activity with key media partners and digital platforms
  • Develop creation activation strategies and take responsibility for their delivery on time and to budget, and ensure that they deliver pre‑agreed returns
  • Supply campaign creative to all key media owners ensuring all artwork is delivered in right size and spec

Admin, Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Liaise with Ad trafficking department to ensure smooth running of campaign
  • Monitor and optimise campaigns against pre‑agreed KPI’s
  • Deliver campaign analysis to clients both during and post campaign to demonstrate performance and learnings gained.

Special Skills/Experience/Aptitudes Needed

  • Experience in media planning and buying role with a focus in digital (at least 2 years)
  • Knowledge and experience of Digital Ad trafficking
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage a variety of tasks
  • Administrative & IT skills, and an ability to maintain records and produce reports
