Salary up to £895.88 per week. You will be part of a large engineering team maintaining and repairing the bodywork of the Stagecoach fleet of 200 large buses across London.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair bodywork on modern double‑deckers, single‑deckers and new electric buses.
- Repair or replace framework, panels, ramps, doors, upholstery and other vehicle components.
- Perform welding and painting tasks as required.
- Support fellow engineers, mechanics, technicians, and administrative staff to keep vehicles in tip‑top condition.
- Work safely and meet daily operational deadlines to keep passengers on time.
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering experience with large vehicles (truck, haulage, automotive, rail, farm machinery, etc.).
- Desirable: Level 3 engineering qualification in heavy vehicles.
- Willingness to learn bus‑specific skills; formal training will be provided if needed.
