Stagecoach London is hiring for a Part Time Training Administrator to join our training and L&D team at our Plumstead Training Centre. The role involves coordinating the learner experience of new bus drivers within a large operation of over 5,000 employees.
Responsibilities
- Invigilate DVSA Theory, Hazard Perception and Case Studies tests and compile KPIs for the training department at the end of each four‑week period.
- Create and maintain records of CPC attendance on Stagecoach UK Bus in‑house databases.
- Use information from Workday and other databases to update training records for new entrants and existing PCV holders.
- Handle day‑to‑day clerical tasks such as answering the telephone, sorting and processing the daily post, maintaining stationery supplies and training materials.
- Produce and issue notices as required.
- Act as liaison with garage managers, engineering managers and other personnel to promote available courses and ensure positive outcomes for additional training requests.
- Ensure adequate supplies of new starter packs for new trainee intakes.
- Provide overall administrative support in relation to training activities.
- Perform other administrative tasks including drafting routine letters and memos, retyping training material to update as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a learning and development / training administrative capacity, ideally within the transport industry.
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders and learners at all levels.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
