Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freight Forwarder to join our growing and dynamic team. This hybrid role, based in Doncaster, involves end-to-end management of freight forwarding operations through a variety of transportation modes: Road, sea, air and/or courier shipments based on client needs. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and compliant movement of goods while delivering exceptional customer service. Previous experience, though desirable, is not required for this role as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in logistics and international trade, as well as experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international and domestic freight operations for road, air, sea and/or courier transport, based on your area of experience.
- Handle end to end shipment processes including quoting, booking, documentation, customs clearance and tracking.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, hauliers and customs officials to ensure clear communication.
- Ensure all shipments comply with relevant international trade laws and customs procedures.
- Resolve any logistical issues and delays efficiently and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service through consistent updates, issue resolution and proactive shipment management.
