Job Profile Summary

To work as part of a small team delivering an in house UK payroll and delivering out sourced payrolls in Europe.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Checking and formatting data from various sources for upload into the Dayforce payroll system
  • Ensuring receipt of files from various sources including upstream systems such as Workday HR
  • Running reports from payroll and HR systems
  • Administering company pension rules; ensuring online filing of pension returns
  • Administering benefits including uploading files, checking outputs and transmitting files and data to third party providers
  • Processing bonus and other special payments
  • Liaising with HMRC and external organisations on pay enquiries
  • Business partnering with HR, Reward, Finance, Global Mobility and other teams to deliver company policies on pay and pensions, etc
  • Dealing with ex patriate payroll rules
  • Processing off cycle payments
  • Calculating and applying statutory and other deductions
  • Checking payrolls and ensuring senior sign off
  • Calculating and transmitting funding requests
  • Creating bank files and ensuring authorisation
  • Assisting with payroll audits
  • Assisting with year end activities including reconciliations
  • On European payrolls: Learning key local country rules
  • Assembling inputs, formatting and checking data before onward transmission
  • Checking draft payrolls, approving and overseeing payroll delivery in line with internal policies and local rules
  • Uploading bank files and ensuring transmission
  • Ensuring that suppliers deliver payrolls to Service Level Agreements
  • Candidate Requirements
  • At least two years' previous experience of processing payroll in the UK
  • Experience of European payroll would be an advantage

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
