You will help coordinate external tax service providers, support routine fund tax matters, and contribute to maintaining strong tax governance across our platform. The role sits within the in‑house tax function and works closely with product, operations, legal, and investment teams to ensure our funds meet all regulatory, reporting, and tax compliance requirements throughout their lifecycle.
How you’ll spend your time...

- Oversee the timely preparation and submission of fund‑related tax filings prepared by external advisors, including UK fund tax computations, investor tax reporting packages, AEOI (FATCA/CRS) submissions, and withholding tax documentation.
- Support the Real Estate operations team in preparing monthly (in house) client reporting for the Construction Industry Scheme and filing returns under the non-resident landlord scheme.
- Where required, coordinate delivery of information from the real estate operations team to the relevant tax advisers to enable delivery of tax compliance within the agreed timeframes.
- Review and question draft tax returns, investor reporting materials, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with fund activity.
- Track and monitor tax payments to ensure they are made accurately and on schedule to HMRC and other tax authorities.
- Assist with ensuring compliance procedures are updated to reflect legislative changes, new regulatory requirements, and best practice.
- Work with external providers to help ensure fund entities meet their ongoing filing obligations across relevant jurisdictions.
- Support the maintenance of accurate records, audit trails, and internal logs for all tax filings, filings due, and payments.
- Tax Reporting
- Liaise with external tax advisors to support the preparation or review of tax provisions for relevant fund vehicles.
- Assist with ensuring tax reporting information is delivered within agreed reporting cycles.
- Liaison with Tax Authorities
- Assist with routine interactions with HMRC on compliance matters, coordinating with advisors as appropriate.
- Support the management of tax queries, information requests, and routine enquiries from tax authorities via external advisors.
- Tax Advisor Oversight
- Help coordinate the appointment and onboarding of external tax providers for new funds and entities.
- Provide review, challenge, and day‑to‑day oversight of external advisors to ensure high‑quality, timely deliverables.
- Support monitoring of deadlines, budgets, and project milestones for tax compliance processes.
- Project Support
- Assist in providing tax input for new product launches, standard fund lifecycle events, and operational changes.
- Help execute advisor recommendations and embed updated processes into BAU activities.
- Governance
- Adhere to internal tax policies and governance frameworks.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation, trackers, or explanations as required.
- Contacts and Relationships
- Work daily with product, operations, legal, and investment teams across London and other locations.
- Liaise regularly with the in‑house tax team across EMEA on matters of overlap.
- Interact with external tax advisors and fund administrators to resolve questions efficiently, often covering different taxes and jurisdictions.
To be successful in this role you will have...
- Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in fund tax, financial services, or a Big Four/professional services environment.
- A sound understanding of fund tax principles and core concepts such as withholding tax, AEOI reporting, and investor tax reporting.
- Experience reviewing the work of external service providers/administrators or experience in preparing deliverables suitable for clients in a professional services environment.
