Purpose of the Role:

We are looking to hire a senior paralegal or junior lawyer, who will assist our Head of Legal in the day-to-day legal and business operations of 501 Entertainment Ltd (“501”). This is an exciting role for a legal enthusiast with a broad skillset who is looking to progress their career in a rapidly growing business. In this role, you will be working closely with all areas of our business, including Sales, Product Development, Finance, People & Talent, Marketing, and IT Security. This is a varied role that offers strong opportunities for continuous learning and development.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Commercial Contracts: Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer agreements, services agreements, NDAs, and IT/software licence agreements. Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries. Partner with the Sales team to support deal progression, balancing commercial speed with legal risk. Identify recurring contractual issues and propose scalable, practical solutions.
  • IP Support: Support the Head of Legal in managing 501’s IP portfolio, including trademarks, designs and patents, working with external counsel on filings and renewals.
  • Employment / People Legal Support: Assist the People team with updates to employment terms, policy roll-outs and incoming employment law queries. Support our internal People processes through legally informed documentation, including offer letters, contractor terms, and standard policy updates.
  • Privacy Support: With the support of the Head of Legal, assist in reviewing and managing 501’s internal and external privacy compliance programme, including privacy notices, terms, and data processing agreements. Maintain internal compliance records and coordinate across teams to collect and keep required information up to date.
  • Litigation: Work closely with the Head of Legal on litigation matters.
