We’re looking for a Talent Manager, who’ll play a key role in shaping the future of 50 Sport. You\’ll be responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining the talented individuals who fuel our success. You\’ll have a deep understanding of the creative agency environment and a passion for connecting with top talent in this competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of roles. Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and identify the best candidates. Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract individuals with a passion for sports marketing.
  • Employer Branding: Build a strong employer brand that reflects 50 Sport\’s culture and commitment to excellence. Work with our Marketing team to manage our presence on platforms like LinkedIn, to attract top talent. Network within the sports industry and attend relevant events to raise 50 Sport\’s profile.
  • Onboarding & Development: Be responsible for running a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. Implement training programs to develop employee skills in relevant areas. Support career progression and identify opportunities for internal growth.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance review process, providing guidance to managers and ensuring fair and constructive feedback is delivered. Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to support their growth.
  • Culture & Engagement: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Work with the Operations team to run cultural activities and social events. Champion 50 Sport\’s expected behaviours and ensure a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Working With:

  • You\’ll work closely with department heads across the agency, including Client Services, Creative (incl. Design), Editorial, Operations/Finance, Production.
  • You\’ll collaborate with our HR partners on people strategy, employee experience, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.
  • You\’ll connect with external partners such as recruitment agencies, universities, and industry organisations.

About You:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, ideally within a marketing or sports-related environment.
  • Is a team player and confident working with Company Co-Founders, working at Board and CEO level is advantageous.
  • A strong network within the sports industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A passion for sports and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and growing agency.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work independently in fast paced social media environment if required.
