Due to a number of recent business wins and existing client demand, we are looking to bolster our growing production team with a Production Manager.

About the role

The Production Manager is the central operational hub of the production team, responsible for managing the systems, documentation, budgets and workflows that underpin all production activity. This is a highly organised, detail-driven role focused on planning, coordination and control rather than on-set delivery.

Working closely with the Head of 50 Studios, Producers and Filmmakers, the Production Manager ensures that every project is properly scoped, resourced, documented and financially managed, enabling the wider team to deliver efficiently and consistently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a structured and methodical approach to work.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and maintain all production workflows, ensuring projects move smoothly from briefing through delivery.
  • Act as the central coordination point for all production activity, managing timelines, dependencies and handovers across teams.
  • Maintain clear visibility across the full production slate, flagging risks, clashes or capacity issues early.
  • Create, manage and maintain all core production documentation, including schedules, call sheets, production plans, trackers and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and consistently formatted across projects.
  • Develop and refine internal templates, tools and processes to improve efficiency and clarity across the team.
  • Build, manage and track detailed production budgets across multiple projects.
  • Lead the scoping phase for all productions, translating creative briefs into structured production plans with clear timelines, resourcing and cost implications.
  • Work closely with Producers and Filmmakers to assess feasibility, identify risks and ensure projects are realistically scoped from the outset.
  • Line manages the Production Assistant, providing structure, prioritisation and support across day-to-day production tasks.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for Producers and Filmmakers, ensuring information flows clearly, and work is aligned.
  • Continuously review and improve production processes to increase efficiency, consistency and clarity.
  • Introduce systems and controls that support scale, reduce friction and improve delivery standards.
