About the role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Manager to lead and execute the day-to-day marketing strategy for the agency. This role sits at the heart of the business and is responsible for shaping how 50 Sport shows up in the market, across digital channels, events, PR and all brand communications. You will own our agency’s voice and presence, manage key social platforms including LinkedIn and Instagram and act as a brand advocate across every touchpoint. From strategy to execution, you’ll play a critical role in driving awareness, credibility and growth for both the agency and the work we do with our partners and clients.
About you
- Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within sport, media, or an agency environment
- Strong understanding of brand fundamentals and the importance of consistent, high-quality communications
- Hands-on experience managing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram
- Experience supporting and executing marketing strategies and campaigns across multiple channels
- Exposure to PR activity, including drafting press releases, media outreach or working with external PR partners
- Experience supporting or delivering B2B events, activations, or industry initiatives
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to tone and detail
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and projects
- Experience managing and updating website CMS a bonus
- A genuine interest in sport and enthusiasm for representing a sports marketing agency brand
Job responsibilities
- Own and execute the agency’s day-to-day marketing strategy across all channels
- Manage and grow the agency’s LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, including content planning, creation, scheduling and reporting
- Act as a brand advocate, ensuring consistency across all agency communications, brand documents, presentations and collateral
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns that support agency growth, positioning and thought-leadership
- Shape PR initiatives, including media outreach, press releases and relationship management
- Plan, promote and support agency-led events, industry activations and partner events
- Work closely with internal teams to capture and showcase agency work, insights and successes
- Monitor performance, report on results and continuously optimise marketing activity
- Stay up to date with trends in sports, marketing, and digital platforms to keep the agency relevant and innovative
