We build and grow social communities, deliver entertainment-led creative campaigns, and drive sponsorship value, connecting fans, brands, and rights holders worldwide. Uniting sport, entertainment, and culture through industry-leading creativity, social media, strategy and performance for clients including Ferrari F1 Team, FIFA World Cup 2026, FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Prime Video Sport and Qatar Airways.

Due to a number of recent business wins and existing client demand, we are looking to bolster our growing Finance team with a Commercial Accountant.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The Commercial Accountant role sits at the centre of the agency, working closely with Client Services and Production to drive financial performance. You will not just be reporting numbers, you will be informing decisions, improving profitability and ensuring the agency is commercially disciplined as we continue our growth journey.

  • Have demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Are an expert in project accounting within a production, agency, or project-based environment.
  • Have excellent knowledge of revenue recognition, WIP management and job costing.
  • Are experienced in managing the full commercial lifecycle of projects.
  • Are personable and collaborative, able to work effectively with a range of different people and thrive in a team environment.
  • Are a clear communicator who maintains high standards of communication, both verbally and written.
  • Are organized and detail oriented with a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

  • Are accountable, you assume nothing, and are diligent about managing expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the day-to-day finance contact for Client Services and Production.
  • Partner with Client Leads and Production Heads across all accounts and projects.
  • Support client and delivery teams to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Own client and project profitability.
  • Intervene early on threats to project profitability, scope creep, and offer mitigation solutions.
  • Lead revenue recognition across the agency.
  • Provide forward looking revenue pipelines, utilisation and resourcing plans.
  • Support client budgeting and project management processes.
  • Work with Finance to maintain data integrity.
  • Track PO coverage and flag shortfalls early.
  • Work with Client Services to chase missing or insufficient POs.
  • Track unbilled revenue and ensure timely conversion to invoices.
  • Maintain accurate WIP and revenue positions on all jobs.
  • Regularly recognise estimated vs. actual costs and accrued vs. invoiced costs.
  • Work with finance during month end to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Ensure alignment between: What’s sold (Client Services), What’s delivered (Production), What’s recorded (Finance).
  • Reduce Balance Sheet risk (WIP, accrued income, unbilled production costs).
  • Review current workflow processes offline and online and ensure efficiency.
