We are looking for a freelance SEO, GEO and AEO specialist to support client projects and help businesses improve their visibility across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery. We are particularly interested in hearing from freelancers with experience working with tech, engineering or industrial businesses.
The Role
We are looking for a freelance specialist to help shape and deliver search strategies that improve online visibility, organic performance, and discoverability across search engines and AI-assisted platforms. This role will involve a mix of strategic planning, technical insight, content guidance and ongoing optimisation. You should be confident working independently, communicating clearly and contributing practical recommendations that can be implemented efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver SEO strategies for client websites
- Carry out keyword research, competitor reviews and search opportunity analysis
- Conduct technical SEO audits and identify areas for improvement
- Support on-page optimisation, including metadata, page structure, internal linking and content recommendations
- Advise on content strategy to improve rankings, relevance and search intent alignment
- Help clients improve visibility in AI-generated and answer-led search experiences, including GEO and AEO
- Monitor performance and provide clear reporting on results, opportunities and next steps
- Collaborate with our internal team on website, content and marketing projects
- Stay up to date with changes in search, AI discovery and best practice
What We’re Looking For
