5 Star Cases are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our small friendly team based in Wisbech. The successful candidate will need a willing and enthusiastic approach to work.
The essential skills required of this role are:
- Previous Management Experience within manufacturing is essential to include, develop and maintain quality control systems including documentation and staff training
- Hands on attitude and approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experienced in using IT equipment, MS Word, Excel
- Attention to detail
- Team player- directly reporting to Senior Management
- Be willing and able to learn new skills
- Experience in driving continuous improvement
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous Quality Control and assurance experience in manufacturing.
- Be able to maintain and improve existing quality systems and take part in developing new systems.
- Ensure all product, raw materials and quality processes are controlled and managed.
- Deal with customers on quality related matters.
- Perform internal and external quality investigations.
- Ensure QA Compliance objectives and targets are met.
- Monitor quality performance, to include statistical analysis and KPI`s.
- Work to ISO 9001 standards.
- Participate in R & D activities

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
The starting rate of pay is £17 per hour, to increase after probation
