Our London portfolio includes 5 Hertford Street, Oswald’s, and Birley Bakery and Chocolate Shop in Chelsea. In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City. We are currently seeking a Sommelier to join our Ground Floor Restaurant team at 5 Hertford Street.

Working Hours

Shifts between Monday – Saturday. The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.

What You Will Do

  • Create a seamless journey & outstanding wine experience for guests
  • Provide knowledgeable advice to guests on wine selection in a professional and friendly manner and serve all drinks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Take orders for cocktails, aperitifs, spirits, wines, liquors, and soft drinks, attending to guest needs

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member’s club advantageous in a similar role
  • Organised, professional with excellent people skills
  • Level 2 WSET Qualification advantageous
