In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City.
We are currently looking for a Baker Sous Chef to join the brigade at our state of the art, exceptionally equipped production kitchen located near Battersea.
What you will do:
- Working alongside our Head Baker, assisting with managing and mentoring a team of up to 8 people.
- To ensure that all the products are baked and presented to excellent quality.
- Managing food and stock rotation, following our recipes and SOPs in place.
- Organising mise en place, and the team accordingly to the business needs.
Working Hours:
- Straight shifts, up to 48 hours a week
- Working hours ranging with shift starts from 1am - 4am
What we are looking for:
- Experience of working in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member’s club advantageous
- Previous experience in the same role is essential, within a similar environment
- Experience in Viennoiserie production, lamination and bread shaping
