Manager / Stockman job - Argyll

We farm a mixture of Red Deer and Highland Cattle based in Glen Fyne, Argyll. We are a small family team split across a number of business so we are looking for an experienced Stockman / Manager to join us on the farming side of the estate.

In winter we feed a combination of spent grains from our brewery alongside our own grown summer cut silage. The role would be to manage the herd of 30 Highland cows and a deer herd of approximately 200 red deer (different stages), along with the land and grass management that supports this. We would expect the applicant to maintain livestock records and work with us to meet the certification required by our end customers.

Applicants should also have relevant tractor and machinery experience, and a full driving licence.

The package available includes a competitive salary, a cottage, and use of the farm vehicles as required.
