- Training: Available but we seek someone with experience of herd management and working well with a team, amenable character, enjoys milking cows and running a simple system
- Farm Details: 34:68 swing over, 150ha grazing platform, part of a wider business with very good local milkers and calf rearers
- Role involves a lot of milking in a pleasant parlour; milk in 2-3 hrs with two people
- Equipment: 2025 JCB pivot steer for feeding, good silage pit next to feed pad/cubicles. Slats, big scraper, big lagoon, no road crossings
- Herd Manager will work with the farm manager who lives on site but works between 4 sites, so there is a responsibility to solve problems and carry accountability
