The Role:

We are seeking a passionate & experienced Farm Manager to oversee our dairy, youngstock, & land-based operations. If you thrive on challenges, enjoy leading teams, and have a hands-on approach to farming, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all farm operations including livestock, grass production, and land use
  2. Develop & implement strategic farm management plans
  3. Lead, train, & motivate farm staff
  4. Monitor budgets & financial performance
  5. Ensure compliance with health, safety & environmental regulations
  6. Implement modern, sustainable farming techniques
  7. Analyze farm performance data to drive continuous improvement

The ideal candidate will be the crucial link between family directors and staff, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. They should possess excellent people skills, be strategic thinkers familiar with lean management principles, and know when to delegate or lead actively.   • Driving Licence Required: Full UK Driving Licence
  • Other Requirements: Must have the right to work in the UK, operational dairy farm experience, and people management skills. Experience with a New Zealand spring-calving system with rotary dairy, herd size approx. 1500 over two parlours. This role offers career development opportunities over the next 5+ years.
