Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their service and maintenance operation from their Waterlooville office. This is primarily an office-based role and would suit either an experienced Operations/Service Manager or a Senior Fire & Security Engineer looking to take the next step into management. You'll use your technical knowledge to support engineers, manage service operations and play a key role in maintaining compliance and delivering an excellent customer experience. Salary and Benefits - Operations Manager Up to £50,000 Basic Salary (DOE) Company Vehicle Company Phone & Laptop 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays One additional day's holiday awarded for each completed year of service Company Pension Scheme Permanent, Full-Time Position Key Responsibilities - Operations Manager Manage the day-to-day running of the service and maintenance department Oversee the maintenance database, ensuring planned maintenance visits are scheduled and completed efficiently Manage incoming service calls and coordinate engineer workloads Provide technical support over the phone, diagnosing faults and helping engineers or customers resolve issues remotely where possible Minimise unnecessary engineer call-outs through effective fault diagnosis Attend site when required to assist engineers with more complex technical issues Support the business during BAFE and NSI audits and assessments Ensure Health & Safety procedures and company compliance standards are maintained Work closely with engineers and senior management to deliver an excellent customer experience Skills and experience - Operations Manager: Strong technical knowledge of Fire & Security systems Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Service Manager, Technical Support Engineer or Senior Fire & Security Engineer Confident diagnosing faults across Fire & Security systems Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance scheduling Knowledge of BAFE, NSI and Health & Safety requirements Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills Full UK Driving Licence Why Join this Company?
