Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic (depending on experience) OTE: £45,000+ with overtime

My Client are a growing and well-established Fire & Security company specialising in high-quality fire alarm installations. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Fire-biased Install Engineer to join their close-knit installation team. While the role is predominantly fire-focused, there will be occasional security installation works. That said, they are very happy to consider strong fire-only engineers, with any security exposure seen as a bonus rather than a requirement. Most work is local to the Midlands, offering excellent work-life balance with door-to-door travel paid.

Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire alarm systems on a mixture of domestic and commercial projects
- Occasional installation of basic security systems
- Working with systems including Advanced, Kentec, and Morley
- Assisting with basic commissioning where required
- Ensuring installations meet industry standards and regulations
- Working independently or as part of a small install team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on site
Requirements:
- Proven experience installing fire alarm systems
- Fire-biased or single-discipline Fire Engineer (security experience not essential)
- Experience with Advanced, Kentec, or Morley systems
- Willingness to undertake occasional security works
- Based in or around Leicester (or willing to commute)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop additional skills
