A growing and well-established Fire & Security company specialising in high-quality fire alarm installations is looking for a Fire-biased Install Engineer to join their close-knit installation team.

While the role is predominantly fire-focused, there will be occasional security installation works. They are happy to consider strong fire-only engineers, with any security exposure seen as a bonus rather than a requirement. Most work is local to the Midlands, offering excellent work-life balance with door-to-door travel paid.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation of fire alarm systems on a mixture of domestic and commercial projects
  • Occasional installation of basic security systems
  • Working with systems including Advanced, Kentec, and Morley
  • Assisting with basic commissioning where required
  • Ensuring installations meet industry standards and regulations
  • Working independently or as part of a small install team
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on site
Requirements:
  • Proven experience installing fire alarm systems
  • Fire-biased or single-discipline Fire Engineer (security experience not essential)
  • Experience with Advanced, Kentec, or Morley systems
  • Willingness to undertake occasional security works
  • Based in or around Leicester (or willing to commute)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to learn and develop additional skills
