About Our Customer
Our client is an accredited fire and security systems provider, well established with over 30 years in the industry. Due to growth, they're adding a permanent Service Engineer to their team, covering North London and parts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. This suits a proactive engineer with a solid fire and security background who wants to build their earning potential through overtime and weekend work while developing their career.
Salary and Benefits – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
Private healthcare
Manufacturer training provided
Salary of Β£40,000 to Β£45,000 basic, with overtime, travel pay and weekend work adding to take-home pay
Standby rate for call-outs
Company vehicle for personal use

Key Responsibilities – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
Keep accurate service records and prepare reports on system performance
Provide first-line technical support, diagnosing and resolving client issues
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and support
Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems to industry standards
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs
Skills and experience – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
Good understanding of fire and/or security industry products and applications
Valid UK driving licence and relevant trade cards such as ECS or IPAF/PASMA
Strong communication skills, with awareness of current industry technology
Certified in relevant fire and security systems with at least 2 years' industry experience
Strong problem-solving skills, able to work well under pressure
