Salary and Benefits - Gate, Barrier and Automatic Door Engineer Salary up to £48,000 depending on experience Company vehicle provided Paid travel after the first 30 minutes each way 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Overtime available On-call rota Permanent, full-time position Key Responsibilities – Gate, Barrier and Automatic Door Engineer Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve equipment faults Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance Complete repair and installation works on automated access equipment Work on a range of gates, barriers and automatic door systems Identify mechanical, electrical and control-related issues Carry out equipment checks, inspections and site assessments Complete scheduled maintenance programmes Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently Keep service records and job documentation up to date Liaise professionally with customers and site representatives Follow relevant company, quality and health & safety procedures Provide out-of-hours support as part of the company's callout arrangements when required Skills and experience – Gate, Barrier and Automatic Door Engineer: Previous experience within automatic doors, gates, barriers or related automation Strong practical knowledge of automated access equipment Multi-skilled experience covering more than one discipline would be advantageous ADSA or ADIA accreditation would be desirable Ideally 3+ years' experience within the industry Confident mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills Good understanding of automation, controls and associated equipment Full UK Driving Licence Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working independently and managing a daily workload Reliable, organised and committed to delivering quality workmanship Why Join this Company?
