Title: Fire Alarm Install Engineer

The Company:
My client, founded over 40 years ago, is seeking Fire and Security Engineers to join their expanding team due to winning new projects and contracts across the UK. NSI Gold and BAFE approved, you can trust you will be working with the best engineers and systems across major customer sites.

Career Progression:
This is not just another install role — it offers a clear and exciting progression pathway, beginning with the current supervisory responsibility, leading into a Project Engineer role, and onwards into Project Management. Ideal for candidates looking to grow their career within a stable and ambitious business.

Package:
As a Fire and Security Engineer, your package could include:
– £40,000 basic (flexible for candidates around this level, particularly with commissioning experience)
– Bonus scheme
– 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
– 30-minute travel deduction each way
– Company vehicle with personal use
– Healthcare scheme
– Career progression opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
– Installing Fire Alarms and small works
– Diagnosing and repairing faults on Fire and Security Systems
– Working within the Social Housing sector
– Completing works in line with current legislation and British Standards
– Building strong relationships with clients, offering advice and support
– Split between two departments: Small Works and Install
– Role includes a supervisory element, with approximately 60% on-the-tools and 40% off-the-tools

Key Experience & Knowledge:
– Strong experience installing Fire Alarms, with Access Control and Intercoms being desirable
– Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred)
– Industry qualifications are advantageous but not essential
– Strong communication skills
