Responsibilities

As a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, your role will include:

  • Carry out scheduled fire system installations and commissioning
  • Liaise professionally with customers, providing clear updates, technical explanations, and on-site support as needed.
  • Identify, recommend, and undertake remedial works and minor installation activities in line with service procedures and industry standards.
  • Accurately complete service documentation, ensuring records of work completed and system performance are maintained.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems in compliance with relevant British Standards.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience installing and commissioning fire systems
  • Experience Working on Gent, Notifier, Advanced and Protec
  • Gent Certified
  • Demonstrated strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence preferred)
