About Our Customer
A fire and security company with over 20 years in the industry is expanding and recruiting additional Security Service Engineers in Central London. The business supports commercial, private, public, residential and retail clients.
Salary and Benefits - Security Service Engineer
- Basic salary of £35,000 to £47,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Company van
- 36.5 hour working week
- Standby payment of £182 per week, on a call out rota of 1 week in 6
- Call outs paid at a flat rate for the first 4 hours, then time and a half
- Overtime paid at time and a half, and double time on Sundays
- Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
Key Responsibilities - Security Service Engineer
- Plan your own time and make sure every job is completed correctly
- Work across commercial, industrial, residential, private and public sites
- Service intruder alarms, access control, CCTV and IP based networks
- Keep all work to high British Standards
Skills and experience - Security Service Engineer
- Driving licence, ideally with no points
- 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC desirable but not essential
- At least 3 years' experience servicing security systems
- Experience installing and commissioning security systems desirable but not essential
- Experience with IP based networks desirable but not essential
