Our client is an accredited fire and security systems provider, well established with over 30 years in the industry. Due to growth, they're adding a permanent Service Engineer to their team, covering North London and parts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. This suits a proactive engineer with a solid fire and security background who wants to build their earning potential through overtime and weekend work while developing their career.
Salary and Benefits – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
- Private healthcare
- Manufacturer training provided
- Salary of £40,000 to £45,000 basic, with overtime, travel pay and weekend work adding to take-home pay

Key Responsibilities – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
- Keep accurate service records and prepare reports on system performance
- Provide first-line technical support, diagnosing and resolving client issues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering expert advice and support
- Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems to industry standards
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency call-outs
Skills and experience – Fire and Security Service Engineer:
- Good understanding of fire and/or security industry products and applications
- Valid UK driving licence and relevant trade cards such as ECS or IPAF/PASMA
- Strong communication skills, with awareness of current industry technology
- Certified in relevant fire and security systems with at least 2 years' industry experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work well under pressure
