We’re a global video and lighting service provider delivering technical expertise across exhibitions, concerts, touring, conferences, theatre, TV, film and retail. We’re looking for a Rigging Prep Technician to join our warehouse team, supporting the preparation, maintenance, and organisation of rigging and lifting equipment across our UK operation. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys technical work, takes pride in equipment standards, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The role will initially involve travel to our Blackburn premises, as our warehouse is relocating. From summer onwards the role will be based in Hertford. Travel costs associated with this transition will be covered by the company.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare, scan and collate rigging equipment, staging it appropriately for jobs/orders.
- Inspect, clean, test and troubleshoot motors and rigging gear.
- Carry out general maintenance and basic repairs to ensure equipment meets safety and rental standards.
- Check equipment in and out using the asset management system, maintaining accurate records.
- Support stock control, reporting shortages of spares and consumables.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace in line with Health and Safety standards.
