Join 4Wall Europe - a global video, lighting, rigging company - to gain real-world experience in delivering AV and lighting to high-end concerts, tours and festivals around the world. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Dock Worker to join our lighting team at 4Wall Blackburn on a fixed-term contract from April until the end of June, with the potential to extend until July.

The ideal candidate will have good organisation and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and work well within a team.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Determine work assignments and equipment needs based on work orders and/or verbal instructions.
  • Enter and maintain inventory records within our Company system.
  • Stage and sort kit for loading.
  • Assist with the loading/unloading of vehicles.
  • Identify and report any damaged kit or items received.
  • Move equipment within the warehouse by operating forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain health and safety standards.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the warehouse.
  • Assist with regular stock taking of equipment.
  • When requested, work as part of our delivery team out on the road, assisting with rigging and de-rigging.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of relevant paperwork and timesheets.
Qualifications and pre-requisites
  • Ability to carry out frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Must have good visual abilities.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and flexibility to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evenings and some weekend working.
  • Experience in entertainment lighting industry preferred but not essential as training will be given.
Working hours

Full time - 40 hours.
