Join 4Wall Europe - a global video, lighting, rigging company - to gain real-world experience in delivering AV and lighting to high-end concerts, tours and festivals around the world. With 3 UK locations and multiple across the US, 4Wall works with some of the best-known brands and artists around the world, delivering the very latest video, lighting and rigging equipment. We are currently seeking an experienced Cable Technician to join our lighting team at 4Wall Blackburn on a 4-month fixed-term contract from February until end of June.

The ideal candidate will have a thirst to learn, a keen eye for detail, outstanding organisation skills and possess the desire to be part of a collaborative team to strive for group success.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the cable department equipment to the highest standards by inspecting, testing and repairing as necessary.
  • Prepping cables as per job requirements in a timely fashion.
  • Checking in/ Checking out equipment as per procedures.
  • Organising all cables, connectors and consumables as per 4Wall working policy.
  • Conducting periodic stock takes.
  • Working as part of a wider team to help deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of vans and trucks.
Qualifications and pre-requisites
  • No previous experience is required, just an interest in cables, a methodical approach, the right attitude and common sense.
  • Ability to carry out frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Must have good visual abilities.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving / trouble shooting and repair ability.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and flexibility to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evenings and some weekend working.
