Project Manager in Harlow

We are seeking an experienced Project Managerto project manage audio visual and technical solution installations for a variety of live events, but predominantly within exhibition w orldwide.You will have a proven track record of project management within the exhibition sector, the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise in a fast paced environment, along with technical knowledge and outstanding client service skills.At 4Wall we are dedicated to optimum client service and quality which means you\’ll work hard but will have countless opportunities to grow your career in this role.Primary Responsibilities Responsibility for a wide range of global projectsTravelling globally to oversee and manage events on-siteFully oversee all aspects of projects from initial design, budgeting, planning and preparation through to delivery and post event review meetingsBuilding, nurturing and developing client relationshipsCarrying out site visits / venue assessmentsTaking a client brief, and providing a quotation that is both commercially and technically sound, in a timely fashionOutlining project timeframes and budgets. Maintaining control of project costs, helping to ensure that projects generate specified profit margins whilst maintaining exceptionally high quality standardsWorking with technical drawings and stand plans, liaising with our technical team to obtain CAD drawings and 3D visualisationsSourcing and managing suppliersOn site management of all internal crew and external contractors as requiredAdhering to and the promotion of company policies and proceduresMaintaining Health and Safety standards and ensuring on-site Health and Safety briefings are heldQualifications and pre-requisites Experience in project management of live technical events, specifically with exhibitions.A broad technical understanding (ideally across all areas of video, sound, lighting and IT).Commercial awareness and Budgetary skills – demonstrate a clear understanding of company business and the ability to effectively balance cost, quality and ensure profitability.Meticulous planning skills and attention to detail.The ability to work effectively across multiple projects within a fast paced environment and delegate appropriatelyFlexibility to deal with the demands of working in the live event industry with the ability to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evening and some weekend workingThe ability and willingness to travel – it is expected that you will predominantly be working in and around the London area, however you will need to travel to our head office in Harlow Essex and further afield as requiredHighly client focused (as delivering the best quality service to our clients is at the heart of what we do)Strong, positive leadership skills with the ability to command respect, engage, motivate and gain commitment from othersWillingness to comply with and support company procedures and policiesA great team playerFull clean UK Driving licenceRigging experience preferred but not essentialWorking hours Full time.——If you are an outstanding project manager and have the required skills and abilities together the desire to work with some of the most exciting technologies around in a company who are committed to career growth and development, get in touch.
