We are currently seeking an experienced Cable Technician to join our lighting team at 4Wall UK HQ in Harlow, Essex. The ideal candidate will have a thirst to learn, a keen eye for detail, outstanding organisation skills and possess the desire to be part of a collaborative team to strive for group success.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cable department equipment to the highest standards by inspecting, testing and repairing as necessary.
- Prepping cables as per job requirements in a timely fashion.
- Checking in/ Checking out equipment as per procedures.
- Organising all cables, connectors and consumables as per 4Wall working policy.
- Conducting periodic stock takes.
- Working as part of a wider team to help deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vans and trucks.
Qualifications and pre-requisites
- An interest in cables, a methodical approach, the right attitude and common sense.
- Ability to carry out frequent manual handling tasks.
- Must have good visual abilities.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Problem-solving / trouble shooting and repair ability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and flexibility to facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evenings and some weekend working.
